Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital is hiring a Nursing Attendant I for the Float Pool on the evening shift. You will assist nurses, monitor vital signs, help with meals and patient transport, and support a safe, clean environment for patients and families.

On-site roles require commuting within NYP locations and ongoing CPR certification. The ideal candidate has a High school diploma or GED, CPR training, and either prior nurse's aide hospital experience, a certifying program, or enrollment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association
• Must meet one of: nurse's aide hospital experience, certification from an approved nurse aide program, or BSN program enrollment

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
• Assist with Meals delivery and patient transport
• Provide comfort and compassionate care under RN supervision
• Support a clean and safe patient environment
• Contribute to patient experience and teamwork across units
