Qualifications

• Ability to clearly communicate to other members of the healthcare team.
• Ability to understand and follow directions of healthcare team.
• Knowledge of patient safety standards and regulations (falls, skin breakdown, suicide prevention).
• Infection prevention and transmission-based precautions.
• Understanding of clerical duties and office technology.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care including care and comfort, vitals, personal care and mobility.
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Delivers high level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Documents patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Uses professional verbal and written communication at all times.
