Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (preferred)
• Nursing Student with First Clinical Rotation complete OR state testing complete (required)
• Successful Completion of PCT Training Program within 6 months of start date
• Preference for recent experience in acute care and/or long-term care facility

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care under supervision (vital signs, care and comfort, hygiene, mobility).
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Delivers high level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Performs accurate, timely documentation of patient care as applicable.
• Uses professional verbal and written communication at all times.
