Job summary

Geisinger Community Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to deliver compassionate patient care within a busy clinical unit. The role requires reliability, attendance, and teamwork to support multidisciplinary care plans.

Full-time, 36 hours per week, with 3 shifts of 12 hours and an every-other weekend rotation. The position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, a minimum hiring rate of $16.25 per hour with potential increases based on experience, and up to $3 per hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Able to work in a clinical environment and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as directed within nursing assistant scope.
• Observe and document patient needs and changes to licensed staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges and tests as needed.
• Transport specimens to the lab and coordinate tests.
• Support care team with daily living activities and safety watches.
