Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Evening shift to join our care team. The role offers a starting pay of $16.25 per hour, with potential increases for experience and up to $3 per hour in shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates and up to $40,000 in financial support to become a nurse. The Nursing Assistant will perform direct patient care and clerical duties, support the care team,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within nursing assistant scope.
• Assist with activities of daily living and care coordination.
• Documentation of patient conditions and care activities.
• Transcribe and process orders; support admissions, transfers and discharges.
