Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Ft. Worth (Plano) is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/per diem night shifts in Plano, TX. The role involves direct patient care and supports a high-acuity inpatient program focused on compassionate, quality recovery services.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, rounds, and mobility, while maintaining clean rooms and equipment. A safety net of orientation and potential advancement opportunities awaits a dedicated NA who meets credentialing

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (e.g. medical assistant)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks such as bathing using basin-less products and assisting with oral hygiene and feeding
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs)
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and maintain stock levels as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
