Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in Savannah, GA. This PRN/Per Diem role offers 12-hour shifts and a compensation of $21.00 per hour.

The hospital delivers inpatient post-ICU services to critically ill patients, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, rounds, patient transport, and maintaining clean, stocked units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA is preferred.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas and assist with movement.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and organized.
• Maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
