Select Specialty Hospital in Savannah seeks a Nursing Assistant to deliver compassionate patient care on a full-time night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

You will assist with bathing, oral hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities, while ensuring safety and privacy, and supporting transport as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years related experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral care and basic needs.
• Perform hourly rounds and transport patients as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly rooms and equipment.

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location: Savannah, Georgia

Schedule: Full-time Night Shift - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Compensation: $17.50 - $21.33 per hour based on experience

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
