Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill, part of Select Medical, invites a Nursing Assistant to join a compassionate team in a PRN/Per Diem capacity. The role features 12-hour shifts, night/weekend differential, and a strong orientation program to ease entry into our care environment.

Responsibilities include patient bathing, oral care, rounds, transport assistance, and keeping rooms and equipment clean. BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as nursing assistant or certification as nursing assistant (or medical assistant).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with movement of patients
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs)
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location:Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour shiftsCompensation: $20.00 per hour

Shift differentials for nights and weekends.

• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
