Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a 7a-7p full-time shift in Camp Hill. The role offers pay based on experience with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly rate of $19.70–$24.00.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years relevant experience) and BLS within 90 days. Healthcare setting experience is preferred and supported by career growth programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as Nursing Assistant or CNA, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assistant services including bathing with basin-less methods, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist in moving patients.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
