Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital In Partnership with Select Medical is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a full-time night shift in Ozark, Missouri. The role supports a brand-new IRH hospital, providing essential patient care and daily living assistance to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic issues.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma preferred; CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks, assist feeding and document intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely, assist mobility programs.
• Answer call lights and provide services to support patient well-being.
• Transport patients to designated areas and treatment centers.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.73 per hour, based on experience

Sign-on bonus: $3,500

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred (maybe required based on some state requirements)
