Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital In Partnership with Select Medical in Ozark, Missouri is hiring a Nursing Assistant for the full-time day shift. You will support patient daily living, take vital signs, assist with bathing, feeding, mobility and mobility programs, and document care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely and participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to patient well-being.
• Transportation of patients to designated areas for treatment.

• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred (maybe required based on some state requirements)
