Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care at our Saddle Brook, NJ inpatient facility. This full‑time day shift supports patients across spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and related recoveries.

Responsibilities include vital signs, personal care, meal assistance, patient mobility, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub, and shower), oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves, and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in the mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA) Location: 300 Market Street, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663 Schedule: Full-time, DAYS 7AM - 7:30PM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

Compensation: $ 21.00 - $25.59/Per Hour (Based on Experience) + Shift Differential
