Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant for nights at 300 Market Street, Saddle Brook, NJ. This full-time position runs 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekday and weekend shifts and a pay range of $21.00 – $25.59 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal care (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene).
• Deliver meals, assist feeding, document oral intake and supplements.
• Turn and position immobile patients; assist in mobility program.
• Respond to patient call lights and provide services to support wellbeing.
• Transport patients to treatment centers or designated areas.

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.59/Per Hour (Based on Experience) + Shift Differential

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub, and shower), oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves, and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in the mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.
