Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Morgantown, part of Select Medical, seeks a Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA/PCT) for day shifts on a 12-hour schedule. Compensation ranges from $17.23 to $21.00 per hour, with weekend shift differentials and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related field (i.e. medical assistant, enrolled RN student).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks such as bathing with basin-less products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers when necessary and assist transporters with moving patients.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Morgantown (located inside of Mon Health, 4th Floor)

Schedule: Day Shift, 12 hr shifts, 6:30-7

Compensation: $17.23 - $21.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for weekends

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
