Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA/PCT) to provide compassionate patient care on the day shift. You will assist with bathing, oral care, mobility, rounds, and transport while keeping patient areas clean and stocked.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related experience) and BLS within 90 days of hire. The position offers competitive pay, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits including insurance and a 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care.

• Restock supplies and support nursing team as assigned.

Job description

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA/PCT)

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Morgantown (located inside of Mon Health, 4th Floor)

Schedule: Day Shift, 12 hr shifts, 6:30-7

Compensation: $17.23 - $21.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for weekends

Sign-On Bonus: $7,500

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
