Select Specialty Hospital in Laurel Highlands (Latrobe area) is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA) for full-time day shifts. The role includes patient bathing, hygiene, transport, rounds, and ensuring clean, well-stocked patient areas with opportunities for career growth through extensive orientation and education programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less products, oral hygiene, and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist staff in moving patients and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
