Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus South in Columbus, OH is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time day shifts on a 12-hour schedule. Compensation ranges from $18.05 to $22 per hour and includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

The role supports post-ICU patients with daily living activities, rounds, and safe transport, with orientation and opportunities for RN scholarship and career advancement through a clinical ladder.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of related work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related role.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with bathing using basin-less bath products, oral care, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with moving them in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field ( i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
