Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus South in Columbus, OH is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time night shifts on 12-hour rotations. Compensation ranges from $18.05 to $22 per hour based on experience, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

The role supports post-ICU patients and collaborates with a large nationwide team. Responsibilities include basic patient care, hourly rounds, transport assistance, and maintaining a clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification requirement within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient care tasks including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist movers with stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
