Select Specialty Hospital - Alle Kiski (located inside Allegheny Valley Hospital) is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) for a Full Time Night shift (7-7). Compensation ranges from $17.92 to $24.12 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks such as bathing (basin-less bath products), oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist transporters with moves on stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and manage unit stock of supplies.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
