Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - McKeesport is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) to join a patient‑focused care team on a PRN/Per Diem basis. The role supports daily patient needs, assists with bathing, feeding and mobility, and works 12‑hour night shifts in a compassionate, high‑quality inpatient setting.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, hospital CNA experience, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire. A sign‑on bonus and free parking are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
