Job summary

Southeast Arkansas College seeks an Adjunct Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor to deliver classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical instruction for the CNA program in accordance with OLTC requirements and SEARK policies.

The instructor will teach the approved curriculum, supervise learners in lab and clinical experiences, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with the CNA Program/Health Professions faculty to support student success.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Arkansas or eligible for compact/multistate licensure.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care in the past five years.
• No current disciplinary action by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
• Experience teaching adults or supervising nursing assistants.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Teach approved CNA curriculum in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
• Supervise and evaluate students during laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Maintain accurate student attendance, competency, clinical, and performance records.
• Provide student feedback, remediation, and support to promote completion and CNA competency.
• Follow OLTC curriculum, standards, and SEARK policies; collaborate with program faculty.
