Job Description:The Adjunct Registered Nursing Instructor provides high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction for SEARK's Registered Nursing/ADN Program in accordance with Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN) standards, applicable accreditation requirements, and SEARK College policies.Essential ResponsibilitiesTeach assigned nursing courses using approved curriculum, course outcomes, and instructional materials.Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction as assigned.Supervise and evaluate student performance and clinical competency.Integrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, evidence-based practice, patient safety, prioritization, delegation, and NCLEX-RN preparation.Maintain accurate attendance, grades, clinical evaluations, and student records.Provide timely feedback, remediation, and academic support.Maintain current clinical and instructional competency.Participate in faculty meetings, orientation, professional development, and program activities as required.Comply with ASBN regulations, SEARK policies, clinical-agency requirements, HIPAA, and applicable safety standards.Minimum QualificationsCurrent, unencumbered RN license in Arkansas or eligible compact/multistate licensure.For classroom/didactic instruction: Minimum Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).For laboratory/clinical instruction: Minimum associate degree in nursing (ADN).At least two years of previous clinical nursing experience at or above the ADN program level, consistent with ASBN requirements.Demonstrated competency in assigned areas of instruction.Ability to effectively communicate with and support diverse adult learners.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Nursing or higher.Previous ADN/RN faculty experience.Experience with simulation, online/hybrid instruction, clinical judgment, and NCLEX-RN preparation.Current clinical practice in an area relevant to assigned courses.Community college teaching experience.Appointment is contingent upon verification of required licensure, education, clinical experience, background requirements, and SEARK employment requirements.Compliance: Faculty must provide and maintain current licensure and demonstrate continued instructional and clinical competency in assigned areas.
