Southeast Arkansas College is seeking an Adjunct Practical Nursing Instructor to deliver classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction in accordance with ASBN standards and SEARK policies.

You will supervise student performance, ensure clinical competency, and provide timely feedback and remediation to support success in the PN program. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and NCLEX‑PN preparation.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Arkansas or eligible compact/multistate licensure.
• Associate degree in nursing or higher (AAS/ADN or higher).
• Clinical experience in medical‑surgical, maternal‑child, mental health, gerontology, or related areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse adult learners and support student success.
• Commitment to professional nursing practice and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing courses using approved curriculum and outcomes.
• Provide classroom, skills lab, simulation, and clinical instruction as assigned.
• Supervise and evaluate student performance and clinical competency.
• Provide timely feedback, remediation, and academic support.
• Participate in faculty meetings, orientation, and program activities.
• Maintain compliance with ASBN regulations and SEARK policies.
