Northwood Tech seeks a Nursing Assistant Instructor to deliver high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction across multiple locations including Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake, and Superior. The LTE role travels to mobile nursing labs and community sites to expand access to Nursing Assistant education.

The position requires a flexible schedule, travel, and a commitment to program success within a grant-funded framework through September 30, 2027, with potential continuation

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Minimum two years (4,000 hours) of occupational nursing experience; at least one year within 5 years of appointment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• Certificate of Completion of Nursing Assistant Train-the-Trainer course (or complete prior hire).
• Department approval by Wisconsin DHS to serve as nursing assistant instructor.

Responsibilities

• Actively embody and promote Northwood Tech values.
• Develop and revise curriculum to meet industry standards.
• Plan instruction, including syllabi and learning plans.
• Deliver, assess, and adapt instruction for all students.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and provide learner-centered support.
• Travel to mobile nursing assistant laboratory locations to support instruction.
