Qualifications

• Must hold Wisconsin RN license and meet state/federal Nursing Assistant Instructor certification requirements.
• Two years of nursing instructor experience preferred and clinical nursing background.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and assess nursing assistant instruction with active learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site instruction for entry-level nursing assistant courses under the Associate Dean.
• Plan, prepare, and implement active learning activities to meet course competencies.
• Develop and use formative and summative assessments to measure student achievement.
• Distribute course policies, grading procedures, and attendance information at course start.
• Deliver instruction using active learning methods for different learning styles.
• Guide students on course progress and academic concerns.
• Review and revise delivery methods and materials based on assessments and program reviews.
• Collaborate with library, IT, bookstore, and other staff to integrate instruction.
