Job summary

Northwood Technical College is hiring a full-time Associate Degree Nursing Instructor at the New Richmond Campus. The role involves teaching in face-to-face, online, web-conferencing, and hybrid formats, with travel to other campuses and occasional evenings and Saturdays.

Relocation assistance may be available. The candidate should have an advanced nursing degree or progress toward higher nursing education and hold or be eligible for RN licensure in WI (MN eligibility may be required).

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with a major in nursing; active progress toward master’s/doctorate in nursing.
• Minimum of two years (4,000 hours) occupational nursing experience.
• Direct care experience as a practicing nurse within the past five years.
• Current, active, unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin; eligibility for MN license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach ADN courses in varied environments (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Develop and revise curriculum including Employability Essentials and technical content.
• Plan instruction: syllabi, learning plans, assessment strategies.
• Deliver, assess, and adapt instruction to meet student needs; promote learner success.
• Advise nursing students and participate in ADN accreditation processes.
