Job summary
Northwood Technical College seeks a full-time Nursing Assistant Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction across Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake, and Superior. The role uses a mobile nursing assistant laboratory and travels throughout the district to expand access to nursing education.
The position is grant-funded (LTE) through Sept 30, 2027, with potential continuation based on program needs and funding.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Minimum of two years (4,000 hours) of occupational nursing experience, including at least one year in the last five years.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction for Nursing Assistant students.
- Deliver instruction across multiple locations using the College’s mobile nursing assistant laboratory.
- Foster learner success and assess learner achievement; continually improve program delivery.
- Plan instruction, including syllabi, learning plans, and assessment strategies.
- Travel to Northwood Tech campuses, workforce accelerators, high schools, and community locations as needed.
