Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of CNA program or Florida CNA certification, or LPN, or nursing student with rotation; or graduate of nursing school; or medical personnel licensure.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutrition needs.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment.
• Maintains safety and confidentiality of patients, families, and staff.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Takes and records vitals and document pertinent patient information.
• Demonstrates competency per unit policies and participates in handoff reports.
• Maintains clean nursing unit and handles calls from patients and guests.
• Transports and delivers items, equipment, and medications throughout the facility.
