Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is hiring a Nursing Assistant I for the night shift. The role supports department Cardiac Intervention with general patient care under supervision of licensed staff.

Opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered care team at a trusted regional hospital. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are prepared to obtain BLS within 30 days, and prefer 1–2 years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutritional needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment; ensure patient privacy and dignity.
• Take and record vital signs and document pertinent information.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Communicate patient status and concerns to the RN and healthcare team.
