Job summary

Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital is seeking a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager for the Cardiac PCU in Wesley Chapel, FL. The CANM will lead shift operations, coordinate staffing based on patient acuity, and ensure high-quality care and exceptional customer experience.

In this role, you will collaborate with Nursing Operations leadership to optimize patient flow, monitor outcomes, and support staff development while maintaining regulatory readiness and adherence to Orlando Health policies.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida or NLC (or compact)
• BSN preferred
• BLS required
• 1 year RN experience in acute care preferred
• Certification in area of expertise preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure delivery of high-quality care and patient flow.
• Manage staffing assignments for oncoming/off-going shifts based on acuity and team skills.
• Coordinate patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, policies, and standards of practice.
• Support frontline staff and providers and promote safety and continuous improvement.
