NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist is seeking a Nursing Assistant for full-time float pool coverage during evenings and nights. You will be at the bedside, monitor vitals, assist with meals and transport, and collaborate with Nurses and Technicians to ensure safe, compassionate care across units including Med-Surg, Critical Care, Psychiatry, and Emergency Department.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of hospital CNA experience, a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, and enrollment

Formación

• Certification from an approved Nurse Assistant training program or enrollment in BSN with at least 1 clinical rotation.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

Floats & Units

• Float to all units-in the hospital such as
• Med-Surg
• Critical Care
• Psychiatry
• Emergency Department

Available Shifts

• Evening Shift - 3:30PM - 12:00AM
• Night Shift - 11:45PM-7:45AM

Preferred Criteria

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience as a nurse’s aide in a hospital.

Salary Range: $25.89-$27.52/Hourly
