Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the 10 North Nurses Aide team in Medical Surgical Oncology at Weill Cornell. This on-site night shift role focuses on bedside care, vitals monitoring, meal delivery, and safe patient transport under RN supervision.

You will work with Nurses and ICU Technicians to support a compassionate patient experience, while helping maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved Nurse Aide training program or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor blood pressure and temperature of patients, and record measurements.
• Deliver meals and assist with safe patient transport.
• Provide compassionate patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe care environment and assist as needed in bedside care.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of experience as a certified nurses aid.

Required Criteria
