NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide for full-time night shifts at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY. You will assist with patient care, monitor vitals, and support a fast-paced clinical team to ensure comfort and safety at all times.

Responsibilities include patient transport, meal delivery, and assisting registered nurses with essential care duties while maintaining a clean and safe environment for all patients.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a certified nurse's aide.
• Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved Nurse Aide training program or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor blood pressure, temperature, pulses and respiration.
• Assist with delivery of meals and safe patient transport.
• Provide comfort and compassionate care as a certified nurse aide under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthy patient environment.
• Support hospital staff and contribute to timely patient care.

Weekend and Holiday requirement

• Preferred Criteria At least one year of experience as a certified nurses aid.
• Required Criteria Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.
