Job summary

Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide direct patient care under supervision. You will assist with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, comfort care, and safe patient transfers while promoting safety and comfort and documenting vital signs and observations.

This is a 0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation. BLS certification within 3 months of hire and completion of a recognized nurse aide training program

Qualifications

• Nurse aide training or state registry required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Assist with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, comfort care, and safe transfers.
• Take vital signs and document observations; maintain a safe, clean environment.
