Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicant must have valid BLS or be willing to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• Evidence of nursing assistant experience or clinical rotation completed.
• Enrollment in Essentia Health Nursing Assistant Foundation Course within 30 days of hire.
• Completed recognized nurse aide training program preferred.
• Current NA registry registration required or eligible for registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision to ensure safety and comfort.
• Take vital signs and document accurately.
• Assist with transfers and mobility as appropriate.
• Support nutritional needs and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and report changes promptly.
