Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: enrollment or completion of a nursing assistant training program.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Previous experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care facility (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assists in the safe care of the patient on the 7 Tower unit as directed.
• Assists in maintaining safe and efficient unit operations and provides excellent customer service.
• Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.
• Safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications and sharps.
