Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Technical Partner for the Float Pool to support patient care on-site. You will assist in safe patient handling and unit operations under supervision, with emphasis on customer service and clinical teamwork.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent, enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant Training, CPR and Act 33/73 clearances; EKG training within 1 year; experience in acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled or completed Nursing Assistant Training Program.
• CPR certification and Act 33/73 clearances required.
• Clinical experience from Nursing Assistant Training or acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the safe care of the patient as directed.
• Maintains safe, efficient unit operations with strong customer service.
• Safely accesses, transports and handles medications and sharps as required.
