Job summary

Regency Hospital in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) for full-time night shifts. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.73 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The role includes patient bathing, oral hygiene, rounds, and assistance with transport and bed mobility.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant experience, and BLS within 90 days of hire. Hospital CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred hospital experience as CNA/NA or related field such as medical assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less bath products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs)
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
