Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with NC Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II per state Board.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and measurements.
• Feeds and ambulate patients per procedures.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Observes and reports changes in condition.
• Orients patients and families to unit and safety measures.
• Assists with clerical tasks and data entry.
• Maintains stock and supplies.
• Performs Nurse Aide I/II tasks per state scope.
• May perform EKG and routine venipuncture as trained.
