Job summary

Advocate Health in High Point is seeking a Nursing Assistant I to provide designated basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. The role supports monitoring, hygiene, feeding, and safe patient handling in a busy hospital unit.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I training and registry, and BLS certification. You will work 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly, 7am–7pm, with weekend coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Board of Nursing Aide I training/competency evaluation completed.
• Nurse Aide I Registry registration.
• BLS certification required from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report patient condition and vital signs as directed.
• Document patient intake, output, and basic care activities.
• Assist in transfers, feeding, hygiene and comfort measures.
• Prepare patient care environment and gather supplies.
• Respond to call lights and support nursing staff.
