Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte is seeking a Nurse Aide I/II for the Carolinas Medical Center – LCH Surgical Pool, night shift 7 PM–7 AM. This full-time role (36 hours/week) requires assisting patients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, vital signs, and patient mobility while keeping rooms clean and orderly.

The ideal candidate is listed on the DFS Nurse Aide Registry or Board of Nursing, and holds BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry or state Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide I/II.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and measurements (height/weight).
• Feeds and ambulates patients according to procedures.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition.
• Orients patients/families to unit and safety procedures.
• Assists with clerical duties and data entry.
