Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to join the Mercy Nursing Float Pool in Charlotte, NC. The role supports RN staff with patient care during night shifts, 7p-7a, for a 36-hour work week. Responsibilities include assisting with daily care, vital signs, documentation, and patient transfers.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED/HSED.
• Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred or required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, grooming, feeding).
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and daily weights.
• Document in EMR and communicate patient changes to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Maintain patient room, supplies, and equipment.
