Job summary

The Addison of Florence, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to assist residents with daily living activities and care. You will support setting up meals, escort residents, and help with activities while upholding dignity and respect for each resident.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living and medications as directed.
• Escorts residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleanup.
• Plans and assists with activities for residents on a regular basis.
• Treats residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Eligibility based on location

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
