Job summary

The Addison of Florence is seeking a Licensed Medication Aide to join our team in Florence, SC. You will administer medications as ordered, assist residents with daily living activities, and help maintain comfort and safety in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, supporting ADLs, and coordinating with nurses and CNAs to ensure high-quality care. A SC license is required and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medication Aide in SC required.
• Current and unencumbered licensure.
• May supervise CNAs as directed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities for residents.
• Assist with serving meals, feeding, ambulation, turning and positioning, and providing nourishment.
• Monitor patient stability by checking vital signs, weight, urine tests, and documenting intake/output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information
