Job summary

The Wellington at Dayton, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a Nursing Aide to assist with daily living activities, medication assistance, and resident support in a compassionate, respectful setting. The role supports independence and dignity for residents across independent, assisted living, and memory care programs.

Qualifications

• Nursing knowledge or experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and medications.
• Escorts residents within the building and outdoors as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterward.
• May help plan and lead activities for residents on a regular basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
