Job summary

The Wellington at Springfield is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team in Springfield, MA. You will assist residents with daily activities, meals, hygiene, and mobility, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in STATE.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with resident care standards (dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts and transfers).
• Assists residents with nutritional needs (setting tables, serving meals, ensuring fluids, substitutions when needed).
• Reminds residents to take medications and assists with opening containers.
• Recognizes changes in residents' behavior/conditions and reports them to the Assisted Living Director.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities include:

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director
