Job summary

The Wellington at Dayton, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to support residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with daily activities, escort residents, aid with meals, and help run activities while upholding dignity and comfort.

Eligible applicants typically have a high school diploma or GED and previous nursing or senior living exposure. Excellent caregiving skills and compassion are essential in this role at The Wellington at

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
