Job summary

Summit Point in Macedonia, OH, part of Sonida Senior Living, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and compassionate care in an Independent Living and Assisted Living setting.

You will assist with medication, meals, mobility, and social activities while maintaining dignity and respect. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; prior senior living experience is a plus, with paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and encourage independence.
• Escort residents within and outside the building as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and cleanup afterward.
• Support planning and execution of resident activities.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
