The Woodlands of Columbus, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aid to support residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. The role focuses on daily living assistance, safe transport within the building, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and medications under supervision
• Escorts residents within the building and outside as needed
• Assists with serving meals and post-meal cleanup
• Supports planning and execution of activities for residents on a regular schedule
• Treats residents with dignity and respect at all times

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
